Battle ground Jharkhand: 30 candidates file their nominations, 11 nomination papers sold for 6th phase

Ranchi: For the sixth phase of nominations currently going on in the state for four Lok Sabha seats including Giridih, Dhanbad, Jamshedpur and Singhbhum (ST) 30 candidates today filed their nomination papers while 11 nomination papers were sold.

During the ongoing nomination process on these four seats so far 60 candidates have filed their nominations while a total of 106 nomination papers have been sold. The nomination process will continue till April 23 while the scrutiny will be held on April 24. Candidates can withdraw their names by April 26 while voting on these seats will be held on May 12.

On the Giridih Lok Sabha today five candidates turned up to file their nominations while four nomination papers were sold. In Giridih so far 16 candidates have filed their nominations and 45 nomination papers have been sold.
For Dhanbad Lok Sabha seat 10 candidates today filed their nominations while three nomination papers have been sold. Overall in Dhanbad, 17 nominations have been filed so far and 27 nomination papers sold.

In Jamshedpur, 11 candidates filed their nominations while 4 nomination papers were sold. So far in Jamshedpur, 18 nominations have been filed and 22 nomination papers have been sold.

On the other hand on the Singhbhum seat, four candidates filed their nominations while no nomination papers were sold. In a whole in Singhbhum 9 nominations has been filed and a total of 12 nomination papers have been sold.
