Ranchi: With the issue of notification the process of filing of nominations for the seventh phase of polling on the three Lok Sabha seats of Jharkhand including Rajmahal (ST), Dumka (ST) and Godda has commenced and on the opening day itself two candidates filed their nominations.
The last date of filing of nominations on these three seats is April 29 while scrutiny will take place on April 30 and the candidates can withdraw their names by May 2. Voting on these four seats will be held on May 19.
On the Rajmahal Seat today seven nomination papers were sold while in Dumka two candidates filed their nominations and four nomination papers were sold. On the other hand on the Godda six nomination papers were sold during the day. At the present, while JMM has Rajmahal and Dumka seats in its kitty, BJP has the Godda seat in its pocket.
