Lt Anurag cremated with full state honours in his ancestral village

Daltonganj: The last rites of Lieutenant Anurag Shukla who had lost his life while trying to save the life of a jawan of his battalion was performed at the banks of Koyel river here with full state honours. His father Jitendra Shukla lit up the pyre of his son during which hundreds of villagers were present.

Earlier in the day, his body was brought from Ranchi to Medninagar where people from all walks of life turned up to pay their tributes to the young man.
