Prime Minister Modi’s road show in Ranchi on Monday evening, public rally in Lohardaga on Tuesday

Ranchi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is arriving in the state capital of Ranchi on Monday where he will do a road show in the evening while on the next day he will be addressing a public meeting in Lohardaga where he would seek votes for the BJP candidates.

Though yet to be confirmed officially the Prime Minister will be once again back in Jharkhand in this month and would address another election rally in Jamua which is part of the Koderma Lok Sabha constituency on April 29. While voting in Lohardaga is scheduled in the fourth phase on April 29 while that in Koderma it will take place on May 6 in the fifth phase.

Due to security reasons the roadshow of the Prime Minister would commence from Hinoo Chowk and will end at Birsa Chowk. The Prime Minister is scheduled to reach Ranchi airport at 5.30 pm. After the end of the roadshow, he would be going to the Raj Bhawan where he would stay during the night. On Tuesday he will address a public meeting in BS College grounds in Lohardaga.

In wake of the visit of the Prime Minister elaborate security, arrangements have been made in the city and a large number of police personnel have been deployed at all prominent spots in the city. A three-layer security cover would be deployed during the road show of the Prime Minister while during his stay in the night the Raj Bhawan will also remain under the security of the SPG and the ATS.

For the road show of the Prime Minister, massive changes have been made in the traffic route in the capital. No vehicles would be allowed to operate on the VIP road which runs from Raj Bhawan to Birsa Chowk while jawans of the traffic police will be deployed at all the cuts to prevent any person or vehicle from trespassing.
