RS MP Poddar slams Congress for its NYAY scheme

Ranchi: BJP’s Rajya Sabha MP Mahesh Poddar claimed that since the Congress party is already aware of the fact that they will not be able to form the next government in the country, therefore, they have come out with a new Lollipop of Nyay Scheme without thinking about its impact on the economy.

Under this scheme every year it is estimated that a sum of Rs 3.6 lakh crore would be spent which is more than the budget allocated for the social scheme in 2019-20 worth Rs 3.34 lakh crore. “If to implement the Nyay Scheme any other scheme will not be stopped then it means that the government will have to give a subsidy of Rs 6.9 lakh crore which is not only impossible but also would be self-destructive,” he said.

Mr Poddar said that the Modi Government with its honest image and concrete decisions has won the hearts of the people and scared by that the Congress is once again making fake claims to win the votes of the people. Attacking the Congress slogan of ‘Ab Hoga Nyay’ (now justice will be done he said that for a party which has ruled this country for about six decades and now talks of justice it means that until now only injustice has been done and for this the Congress is only responsible therefore the Congress party should first seek forgiveness from the people, he said.

The MP said that the Congress governments right from the time of late Indira Gandhi and til Manmohan Singh have coined the slogan of ‘Garibi Hatao’ (remove poverty) but they were unable to remove poverty but rather the poor were removed and now they have coined the new slogan over which the people will not be able to trust.

He said that Rahul Gandhi says that the money collected back from Neerav Modi and Vijay Mallya would be used for funding the Nyay scheme which is once again based on imaginative and weak thinking. Mr Poddar said that the funds which would be collected from Neerav Modi of Mallya belongs to the banks from whom they have taken the loans.
