Chatra/Daltonganj: Leader of opposition in Bihar and former deputy Chief Minister Tejaswi Yadav along with former Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi jointly campaigned for party candidates contesting on the Chatra and Palamu (SC) Lok Sabha seats of the state and urged the people to support their party nominee.
The duo addressed election meetings in Hunturganj and Panki in favour of RJD candidate from Chatra Subhash Yadav while in Palamu where Ghuran Ram is contesting the leaders sought votes of the people Bhawnathpur and Harihargunj.
Speaking on the occasion Tejaswi Yadav asked the people to ensure the victory of his party candidates who are fighting for social justice. He said that for the past many years RJD has been fighting for the rights of the poor and alleged that to suppress the fight for the poor as part of conspiracy his father Lalu Prasad Yadav was sent to jail. Tejaswi said that the people of Bihar and Jharkhand have already made up their minds to further intensify the agitation of Mr Yadav.
Tejaswi said that ‘chowkidaar’ of the country was sleeping, therefore, the thieves managed to steal the money of the people and fled abroad. He said that the next government will be formed by Mahagathbandhan in the country and said that people were missing Lalu Yadav. He accused the BJP and its leaders of misleading the people of the country and said that his party was fighting to preserve the constitution.
Attacking further he said that an emergency like the situation was prevailing in the country and pointed out that the administration in Ranchi deliberately creates a problem when he tries to meet his father.
Speaking on the occasion Mr Manjhi said that Prime Minister who claims to be the chowkidaar has not done his duty properly and said that none of the promises which he had made to the people during the Lok Sabha polls of 2019. He said that the Modi Government was doing the ‘vikas’ of industrialists and not of the poor of the country.
