Battle for Ranchi: Sanjay Seth and Subodhkant Sahai sweat it out to win peoples vote

Ranchi: With the election for the prestigious Ranchi Lok Sabha seat scheduled on May 6 the candidates of Mahagthanbandhan and that of the NDA are making all possible efforts to reach to the people braving the heat and humidity of the weather.

BJP candidate Sanjay Seth campaigned in the areas of Tatisilwai, Namkum, Mahilong and Jorar. During his interaction with the people, he said that the government of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken many initiatives to help the common people through its welfare measures.

On the other hand, Congress nominee Subodhkant Sahai conducted a campaign in various areas of Chutiya during which he collected information about their problems and assured to look into their grievances. In his address to the people, he said that in the last five years the BJP has only divided the country.

He said that after coming to power the BJP apart from misleading the people has done nothing for their betterment. He said that in the polls of 2014 the BJP had raised the slogan of price rise and inflation but after coming to power the prices of petrol, diesel and LPG touched sky high making survival difficult for the people. He said that people are fed up with BJP and will not vote for them again. Former Minister Banna Gupta and senior party leader Anandi Brahm also accompanied Mr Sahai along with Dr Mahua Manjhi of the JMM.

He said that in the last five years the prestige and honour of the country have increased across the world and said that time has come for the people to decide that whether they want a strong government or a weak government in the country. MLA Ramkumar Pahan also addressed the programme. Earlier around 7 am Mr Seth held a pad yatra in Panchsheel Nagar, Ambanagar, Vijaypath and Pandra and sought the support of the people
