Sahai files nomination, says elections to protect constitution of nation

Ranchi: Congress nominee from Ranchi Lok Sabha seat Subodhkant Sahai filed his nominations from the Ranchi Lok Sabha seat during which he was also accompanied by JPCC chief Dr Ajay Kumar and other leaders of the
Mahagathbandhan. 

Later addressing a public meeting at the Harmu grounds of the state capital he said that this election was not about his individual fight but was rather to save the country and the core idea of unity and diversity. He called on the party workers to ensure that not only Ranchi but on all the 14 Lok Sabha seat of Jharkhand the Mahagathbandhan emerges victorious so that as an ultimate goal Rahul Gandhi becomes the Prime Minister. He said that the Gandhi family has sacrificed the most for the cause of the nation and the Congress party would not be scared of the allegations being made against them by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that the fight of the Congress has further gathered momentum after entry of Priyanka Gandhi. 

He said that BJP led government at the centre has hijacked all the constitutional bodies and even the judges of the supreme court have to come out in open and say that things are not right. Mr Sahai said that in the manner in which the BJP has tried to hijack the media has never happened in the history of the country before. The meeting was also addressed former ministers and Congress leaders Rajendra Singh, Bana Gupta, Dadai Dubey, JMM legislators Amit Mahto, Bandhu Tirkey.
