13 candidates file their nominations, 19 nomination papers sold for 5th phase

Ranchi: For the fifth phase of nominations currently going on in the state for four Lok Sabha seats including Koderma, Ranchi, Khunti (ST) and Hazaribagh 32 candidates today filed their nomination papers while 21 nomination
papers were sold.

During the ongoing nomination process on these four seats so far 54 candidates have filed their nominations while a total of 85 nomination papers have been sold. The nomination process will continue till April 18 while the scrutiny will be held on April 20. Candidates can withdraw their names by April 22 while voting on these seats will be held on May 6.

On the Koderma Lok Sabha, five candidates turned up to file his/her nominations while five nomination paper were sold. In Koderma so far 13 candidates have filed their nominations and 18 nomination papers have been sold.

For Ranchi Lok Sabha seat 14 candidates filed their nominations while eight nomination papers have been sold. Overall in Ranchi, 18 nominations have been filed so far and 30 nomination papers sold.

In Khunti 8 candidates filed their nominations while 4 nomination papers were sold. So far in Khunti, 12 nominations have been filed and 19 nomination papers have been sold.

On the other hand on the Hazaribagh seat, five candidates filed their nominations while three nomination papers were sold. In the whole, in Hazaribagh 9 nominations have been filed and a total of 17 nomination papers have been sold.
