Ranchi: Former MP Salkhan Murmu who has recently joined JD(U) from JDP has been appointed as the new state unit chief of the party. State convener of the party Shailendra Mahto has been made the senior vice president of the party while Shravan Kumar has been made the spokesperson.
An announcement in this regard was made in a press conference addressed by in charge for party affairs and MLA Ramsevak Singh. Mr Singh said that all former committees have been abolished by the party and new committees
would be formed by Murmu. The newly appointed state unit chief said that all works of Nitish Kumar would be implemented in the state and JD(U) will provide an alternative to the people of Jharkhand.
