BJP accuses JMM and others of supporting Cong stand on sedition law

Ranchi: The BJP has accused JMM, JVM(P) and RJD of supporting the Congress party’s stand on the sedition law, removal of AFSPA and reducing the number of army personnel in Jammu and Kashmir as so far these parties have yet not cleared their stand on the issues which are part of the Congress manifesto.

Party spokesperson Pratul Shahdeo said that on many occasions through public platforms the BJP has sought the opinion on these parties on the issues but so far they have not bothered to reply which shows that their silence is mute approval towards the manifesto of the Congress party.

He said that it is due to the efforts of the central and the state government that terrorists and the extremists are on the back foot in the state and in such a time by remaining silent on sedition issue the opposition was increasing the powers of separatists and the anti-national forces.

Pratul said that BJP was in favour that the sedition law should be further strengthened and said that by supporting the Congress stand these parties are also helping it in its divisive policy and said that people through ballot will teach a lesson to such parties,
