Kirti Azad attacks Centre and State govt, Thanks Congress for allowing him to come home

Ranchi: In his first visit to the state cricketer-turned-politician Kirti Azad Jha tore into the BJP led central and the state government and said that the ‘zumlas’ of the party and their leaders has destroyed the nation. Addressing a press conference at the Congress headquarters here after he was given the party ticket from Dhanbad he said that he was neither an outsider or a parachuted candidate but was rather fortunate to have come back to him home as he was son of Godda and had also worked in the Bokaro Steel Plant for 11 years (from 1982-1993) which was his first and last job.

He said that the Prime Minister has failed to fulfill even one of his promises which he made to the people including bringing back the black money, giving Rs 15 lakh in the accounts, creating two crores job every year, smart cities, stand up India, start-up India have all been left unfulfilled and this time the people will not trust on his words.

He said that influenced by the words of Prime Minister Narendra Modi that neither he will eat or allow the others to do so he had raised the issue of scam in DDCA which was then headed by Mr Arun Jaitley. Mr Azad said that with all the documents proof he had apprised the Prime Minister and Mr Amit Shah over the scam worth Rs 400 crore but instead of taking any action against him on December 23, 2015 he was suspended from the party.

“Arun Jaitley played the role of ‘Shakuni’ as despite for working 26 years for the party selflessly without making any demands this is the reward which was given to me,” he said adding that Mr Jaitley has a bad eye over the money of the people of the country. He said that he has been fortunate to have been elected as MLA from Delhi once and MP thrice from Dharbhanga.
