Ranchi: Former deputy chairman of Bihar minorities commission Inderjeet Singh Kalra joined the membership of the Congress party here. In a function held at the party headquarters, Mr Kalra joined the Congress in presence of JPCC chief Dr Ajay Kumar and party’s Ranchi Lok Sabha seat candidate Subodhkant Sahai. Kalra had met former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in New Delhi who had asked him to join the Congress party in Jharkhand.
Those who were also present on the occasion also included JPCC media in charge Rajesh Thakur and party spokespersons Lal Kishore Nath Shahdeo, Alok Kumar Dubey etc.
