Tejaswi faails to meet Lalu Yadav

Ranchi: Former deputy chief minister of Bihar Tejaswi Yadav failed to meet his father Lalu Prasad Yadav at the paying ward of RIMS here. Tejaswi had reached the hospital at 5.50 pm but the stipulated time had ended at 5 pm itself, therefore, he was not allowed by the security guards to go inside.

Livid over the incident he alleged that on the directions of the BJP he was not being allowed inside. Tejashwi said that in such an important time when his father is ill therefore as a son he should have been allowed to meet him. He said that the jail administration could have granted permission for at least 10 minutes for today or tomorrow morning as according to the jail manual any member of the family can be given permission to meet by the jail superintendent. 

Tejashwi said that he himself or other members of the family in a month occasionally come to meet Mr Yadav and in such circumstances, the jail superintendent could have allowed him permission to meet his father and said that the government should not do politics in each and everything. He said that it was not possible for a meeting then at least he could have been allowed to speak to his father but he said that unfortunately, the jail administration has to answer to their bosses or else they might be facing the axe. Tejashwi list that he had reached Palamu at 12:00 p.m. but the permission for the helicopter was given at around 1:00 p.m. by the time it had returned that to Ranchi and then the extension was demanded deliberate delay was done. He said that from Palamu itself he was trying to get in touch with the jail Superintendent but could not reach him.

Over the Lalu Rabri morcha he said that he would not like to comment on the issue as he had come to just meet his father and would speak only on that. He said that his father was not being treated properly but raids from Delhi is being carried in the cell of his father and asked Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar to come clear over the allegations of Anant Singh to claim that when he was in jail Mr Kumar used to call him.

He said that for the past two weeks Eco test of Mr Yadav could not be done as there was no security to take him to the other building and pointed that when he is not being provided treatment in rims then why he has been kept here. He said that BJP was scared of Mr Lalu Yadav, therefore, such work was being carried out but people have already made their mind to teach a lesson to them.
