Tejaswi said that in Jharkhand the Mahagathbandhan was strong. Speaking over the departure of various senior leaders including Annapurna Devi and Janardhan Paswan he said that if someone wants to go than it was not possible to hold on to them. He blamed the media for all the alleged rift surrounding between him and his elder brother Tejpratap. During the function former MLA and JVM(P) MLA Satyanand Bhokta joined
the membership of RJD.
