Daltonganj: Police has arrested five criminals from separate police station areas of the Palamu district. In the first incident, three youths were arrested along with the pistol while they were trying to get inside the civil court premises in Daltonganj. Police said that the youth were apprehended while they were trying to get inside through the metal detector which has been installed outside the premises of the civil court.
Police said that the arrested have been identified as Amanat Khan, Vikas Kumar Mehta and Danish Kumar. The trio was later forwarded to judicial custody. Meanwhile in separate incident police has arrested an up-mukhiya from Kunjadpati of Daltonganj Town Police Station for being involved in arson inside a stone mine in Chattarpur Police Station area. A criminal was also arrested from Chainpur police station area.
