Ranchi: A team of the local administration has seized Rs 10 lakh from a SUV under Tamar police station area of this district. In the presence of magistrate Manish Kumar the cash was released from the vehicle. BDO Tamar Rahul Kumar said that the car was going on its way to Jamshedpur from Ranchi and during a vehicle checking drive on the NH 33 the SUV was apprehended and a bag containing the cash was found.
Meanwhile, the occupant of the vehicle who identified himself as the owner of a popular bus service operator from Ranchi said that he was going to pay the money to a bus body building garage in Jamshedpur and has also handed over documents in his support. Further probe was on.
