Ranchi: The ECI and Railways have collaborated on voter awareness for the Lok Sabha Elections and one of the joint activity is the vinyl wrapping of 4 long distance trains in Voter Awareness messages. “ One of the Train - Kerala Express is getting wrapped by Friday night and shall be ready by Saturday morning. Accordingly, the Flag-off of the train has to be scheduled for 1100 hrs Saturday from New Delhi Railway Station as per the scheduled departure of the train” says a press release.
The Commission has directed that there shall be no-inconvenience to passengers and accordingly the following may be seen: Flag off at scheduled departure time by Sr DEC/CEO Delhi/and Sr Official from Railways. Train wrap to be taken as a backdrop for photo-op, so no separate backdrop/hoarding to be set up. No chairs etc Limited media for maximum coverage, accordingly selected channels/media to be invited.
A crisp short function of 15 minutes with a short address by Sr DEC and Sr official Railways, followed by Flag off and Photo op and 5 min of byte for Media. 4. Flag-off shall be done at all major stations by CEO/DEO in a similar fashion or shorter.
