Minister Randhir Singh accused of slapping elected woman representative

Jamtara: Jharkhand’s Agriculture Minister Randhir Singh who often remains in wrong news has quoted yet another controversy and this he has been accused of slapping in public an elected women representative. The minister has been accused of slapping the Zilla Parishad member from Sarath block Pinki Kumari. Eyewitnesses said that Pinki Kumari was participating in a religious function organized in Kala Jharia of Jamtara district in which the Minister later also reached.

Eyewitness said that during the programme itself some arguments broke out between the two and in the heat of the moment the minister slapped her due to which she fell down and also broke her spectacles. The incident created a tense environment at the function which was later defused by the intervention of the locals. The victim Pinki Kumari said the minister suddenly started using foul language against her and also slapped her in which her spectacles broke down. On his part Minister Randhir Singh has denied his involvement in the incident and has blamed Pinki Kumari for misbehaving with him and also his bodyguards
