AJSU parliamentary board meet deferred to March 25

Ranchi: The meeting of the parliamentary board of the AJSU party will take place on March 25 against the earlier date of March 23. On March 25 the party will also announce its candidate for the Giridih Lok Sabha seat which it has been allotted as part of the NDA. Jharkhand’s Water Resources and Sanitation Minister Chandraprakash Chowdhary is the front runner to bag the ticket from the seat however an official announcement in this regard would only be made after the parliamentary board meeting.

The party has already said that it will play its collective responsibility as part of NDA in the Lok Sabha polls. In its Central committee meeting, it has been decided that apart from the manifesto of the NDA the party would be also bringing out a special manifesto for the state. Party supremo Sudesh Kumar Mahto said that JMM is deeply worried after Giridih seat has been allotted to the AJSU party as part of the NDA. He said that Giridih Lok Sabha seat would be the centre point of party’s activities as the elections was an opportunity to establish the party at the national level and fulfil the dreams of late Binod Bihari Mahto.
