CPI(ML) announces to contest Koderma and Palamu Lok Sabha seats

Ranchi: In a setback to the chances of inclusion of the left parties in the mahagathbandhan of the opposition in Jharkhand the CPI (ML) announced that it would be fielding its candidates on the Koderma and Palamu Lok Sabha seats. A decision in this regard was
taken in the meeting of the State Committee of the party. It was also decided that in the other seats where other left parties would be contesting CPI (ML) would be extending it support and will also be launching a campaign against the BJP all across the state.

State Secretary of the party Janardan Prasad said that the party was standing strong against the BJP in Koderma and his was the only party which was capable to defeat the BJP in that area, therefore, mahagathbandhan should support CPI(ML) in Koderma and prevent the division of votes. He said that as for an issue of Hazaribagh is concerned then it is good that the Congress should support the CPI as the CPI has won the seats on many previous occasions also. Mr Prasad said that party candidates would be announced by party president Dipankar Bhattacharya on March 25.
