Man kills wife, later hangs himself in Jamtara

Jamtara: A man strangulated his wife to death and later himself committed suicide at Chikanya Pada under Nala police station area of this district. The deceased have been identified as Amal Raut (40) and his wife Rinku Devi. Family members said that the couple often 
used to quarrel as the man was a regular drunkard. 

On the day of the incident the couple had an heated argument after which the man strangulated his wife to death and later hanged himself inside the room. As the door of the house did not open till long in the morning the neighbours looked inside and saw the man hanging after which they alerted the police. Later both the bodies were sent for post mortem to Sadar Hospital.
