Ranchi: Katihar MP Tariq Anwar met jailed former Bihar Chief Minister and RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav at the paying ward of RIMS here. Prior to him former Bihar cabinet minister and RJD leader Ramai Ram had also reached RIMS to meet Mr Yadav but
he was denied meeting. On the other hand, NCP National General Secretary and Chief spokesperson DP Tripathi also reached RIMS to meet Mr Yadav.
Talking to the press after meeting Mr Yadav Tariq Anwar said that he had come to enquire into the health conditions of Mr Yadav. He said that since Mr Yadav had been admitted at the hospital he had not been able to meet him and pointed out that the
two of them had a very old relationship. Over the seat sharing in mahagathbandhan in Bihar is said that there was still time and accordingly an official announcement regarding as to which party would contest from which seat would be made. Over his chances of contesting the elections, he said that it is for the party high command to decide.
When asked to comment about his predictions on the Lok Sabha results he said that the results would be good as many new people have joined the mahagathbandhan which would have a positive impact. He said that BJP has this time given the slogan of crossing more than 400 seats however there was nothing bad in dreaming. Mr Anwar said that it is the army and the Jawan who should get credit for the surgical strikes but the same is being taken by Prime Minister Modi and the BJP.
