Rain and thunder lash capital and adjoining areas

Ranchi: The weather in the state capital and adjoining areas once again took a U-turn in the afternoon with the rain and thunderstorm
lashing the capital. The day had begun on a bright and sunny note but as soon as it reached afternoon the sky was suddenly filled with dark clouds forcing the people to put on the lights of their vehicles playing on the roads.

According to the weather department till March 18  many areas of the state is expected to remain under cloud cover and witness rainfall from light to medium range. The Met Department had already detected that districts such as Ranchi Ramgarh Hazaribagh Chatra Lohardaga Palamu East and West Singbhum Bokaro and Hazaribagh would be receiving light to medium range rainfall during this period which would be also coupled with strong winds.
