Jharkhand JD(U) wants asks high command to field candidates on all seats

Ranchi: The Jharkhand unit of the Janta Dal (United) has demanded its national president and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar to
filed party candidates on all the 14 Lok Sabha seats of the state. Addressing a press conference here national secretary of the party cum incharge for party affairs in Jharkhand Ramsevak Singh said that in the meeting of the state working committee all the office bearers have expressed their desire that the party should contest on all the 14 Lok Sabha seats of the state. He said that he would be apprising the national president (Nitish Kumar) over the sentiments of the party workers and the leaders of Jharkhand as he is only one who would make the final call.

Mr Singh said that the party organization is strong on all the 14 seats but so far 6-7 seats have been identified in Jharkhand where the leaders want to contest the elections. To a query, he said that the alliance with NDA was confined to only Bihar and the party is free to filed its candidates in any other state of the country. When asked about many senior leaders resigning from the party he said that it happens during the time of elections in every party. Over the absence of senior party leader Khiru Mahto he said that since there was marriage in his family, therefore, he could not come and maintained that Mr Mahto was very much part of the JD(U).
