Babulal Marandi gets bail in model code of conduct case

Daltonganj: Former Jharkhand Chief Minister and JVM(P) supremo Babulal Marandi surrendered before a local court here in connection with the violation of an eight year old model code of conduct case. Mr Marandi surrendered in the court of Judicial Magistrate (First Class) Deepak Kumar who later granted him bail on two bonds of Rs 10000 each. 

The than Additional Collector (law and order) Mukul Pandey had registered an FIR against Mr Marandi bearing case number 180/2011 in Daltonganj Town Police Station citing the reason that Mr Marandi had violated section 144. Many local leaders and party workers were alsp present in the court premises during the hearing of the case. Earlier talking to the press the leader had claimed that to defeat the BJP all like minded parties have decided to come together in Jharkhand and soon announcement of seat sharing would be announced.
