Rapid growth of Jharkhand is priority for Centre: Union Min Gadkari

Jamshedpur: Union Minister for road transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari said that construction of national highway road between Ranchi and Jamshedpur was pending due to several reasons but now all the hurdles have been removed and the project would be completed within the next 18 months.

In a video message, the Minister said that that central government and the state government through their coordination have re-tendered the process of building the road and it is expected that in the next 18 months this work would be completed. He said that the central government was also committed for all round development of Jharkhand. Mr Gadkari said that he himself wanted to be present on the occasion but due to some unavoidable circumstances he could not come to the program for which he has regrets. He also assured that in the next 13 months Ganga would be made 100 pc clean as the government was making dedicated of words in this regard.

The Union Minister in his message said that the construction of national highways in Jharkhand will play an important role in its all-round development and will also felicitate traveling movement with is and will also help to save time fuel and also reduce the cost of transportation. It will also help Jharkhand to become part of the national growth story. He said that the projects of the national highways for which foundations have been laid on this day would be a milestone in the development of Jharkhand.
