Raghubar extends gratitude towards Nitin Gadkari for extending help in road construction projects

Ranchi: The Union Road Transport and Highways Ministry has sanctioned roads and bridge construction projects for Jharkhand worth Rs 675 crore and has also sanctioned funds for the same. From the Central Road Fund a sum of Rs 507.64 crore has been given to the state. 

Chief Minister Raghubar Das has extended his gratitude towards Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari for sanctioning the projects and said that liquidation of funds would help to complete the road projects. Secretary of the road construction department KK Soan said that it has been a major achievement for the state government. He said that at the end of
the financial year due to the special initiative taken by Chief Minister funds have been allocated from the central road fund. Local commissioner of Jharkhand Bhawan New Delhi M R Meena and Personal Secretary to Chief Minister KP Baliyaan also took initiative on behalf of the state government due to which the funds Where are located on time. 

Divulging the details the secretary said that a sum of Rs 140 crore has been sanctioned for reconstruction of Meral- Ambakhoriya road, Rs 113 crore for reconstruction of Nagar Untari-Ambakhoriya road, Rs 201 crore for expansion of Garhwa Manjhigaon Soan Bridge road, Rs 55 crore for building high level bridge on Barakar river on Mugma-Chirkunda road, Rs 51.4 crore for strengthening of Pakur- Barharwa NH133 and Rs 25 crore for NH143A Ghaghra- Gumla road.
