Landmines in series recovered in Palamu

Daltonganj: CRPF personnel have recovered landmine planted in series from Chorbora under Manatu police station area of the  Palamu District. Assistant Commandant of the 134th battalion of the CRPF said that during search operation some suspicious item was located and upon searching it further they were found to be landmines planted in a series.

Later a bomb disposal squad from Ranchi reached on the spot and defuse the bomb the officer said adding that the landmines had been planted to inflict damage on the security forces.
