Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das inaugurated a skill development college in Nagra Toli which has been set up in collaboration of Pre-Jha foundation and said that without the cooperation of the women and the girls of the state it was not possible to achieve all-round development of Jharkhand. Addressing the people on this occasion he said that while on one hand brave commander of the air force Abhinandan was coming back to the country on the other hand doors of self-empowerment for the girls of the state is being opened.
He said that during his visit to Dubai he had thought upon having a modern skill development college in the state and the same thought has been realised on this day and added that girls should give their 100 per cent and do not worry about the employment as the state government would take care of that. The Chief Minister recalled that in the year 1980 he too had to wear a safety helmet to work on a monthly honorarium of Rs 1200. At that time to make myself skilled I had got myself registered in a one year course for basic drying however things went on a different course he said adding that he was recalling the incident just to highlight the fact by the accumulation of degree alone employment cannot be achieved.
The Chief Minister said that the nursing college in Chanho was been successfully operated and soon similar nursing colleges would come up in Chaibasa Saraikela Gumla and Sahibganj for which approval has been given and nurses who have been trained here would be appointed in the medical colleges to come up in Hazaribagh Dumka and Palamu and other 500 hospitals of the state.
Mr Das said that his government was committed to enhance the skills of the youth belonging to the SC ST and minority communities. He said that 69 youth from Torpa of Khunti district have got jobs in Dubai and it was only possible due to their skills. He said that the youth should not only think about getting employment but should rather become an employer and said that after completing the training either they can get jobs or start self-business and provide jobs to another and assured that in this work the government will help them get Mudra loans.
The Chief Minister said that after independence for the first time skill development ministry has been constituted by the government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi so that the youth apart from getting the degrees can also be made skilled. The Chief Minister said that the state government has plans to build the world’s largest Buddha Stupa in Itkhori of Chatra and urged the chief representative of JICA India Katsuwo Matsumoto so that the Japanese government can help the Jharkhand government as
the country of Japan has a deep relationship with Itkhori.
