Raghubar announces June 2020 CTO for brick klin owners

Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das has announced to provide June 2020 CTO to the brick klin owners of the state however for that the owners would have to submit an affidavit that within a fixed timeline they would apply for a licence along with bank guarantee of Rs 10000.

A direction in this regard was issued by the Chief Minister during a meeting with the Jharkhand state bricks manufacturer association at the project building here. In the meeting, the Chief Minister directed that they should ensure that the registration of workers of the unorganised sector should be done under Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi mandhan Yojna as in this after submitting a very small amount of money the workers would be eligible for a pension. He said that the scheme would be launched from March 5 and said that three-day camp would be organised in the state in which registration of the workers would be held.

Mr Das said that for the process of registration only a copy of the Aadhar and a self-attested affidavit stating that the monthly income was less than Rs 15000 has to be deposited. He said that the state government would be enhancing the skills of the labourers working at the brick lane so that the quality of the production is improved and their wages also increase. The meeting it was informed that there are about 2400 brick klin and most of them operate without a licence and this meeting has been organised to regularise them.

Those present in the meeting included principal secretary to Chief Minister Sunil Kumar Barnwal chairman of state pollution control board AK Rastogi member of state pollution control board Rajiv Lochan Bakshi and others.
