Miscreants hack RMP to death in Simdega

Simdega: Unidentified miscreants hacked an RMP doctor to death in Kanmejra panchayat under Thethaitangar Police Station area of this district. The body was on Friday spotted by the villagers who alerted the local mukhiya who than informed the police. The deceased has been identified as Asit Malakar who had on Thursday night gone into the area for the treatment of a patient. Upon receiving information SDPO Rajkishore reached on the spot.

The officer later said that the man has been killed with the use of sticks and sharp-edged weapon and his eyes have been also damaged. He said that the police was questioning the villagers and also his family members. Later the body was sent for post-mortem. The deceased originally hailed from Kolkata and ran a private clinic here.
