Cabinet Decisions: Govt to provide subsidy to electricity consumers

Ranchi: The state government has decided to provide a subsidy to Electricity consumers in different grades. A decision in this regard was taken in the meeting of the state cabinet which was chaired by Chief Minister Raghubar Das at the project building here. The
state government also approved a decision to outline the policy as per which students both boys and girls hailing from all categories studying in class 6th and 7th of the Government schools would be provided bicycles under the bicycle scheme for which cost of each
cycle has been fixed at Rs 3500. 

Following the decision of the Jharkhand High Court in case number 309/2018 the state government has decided to appoint ex-servicemen on a permanent basis who were earlier working on contractual basis at the Jharkhand Bhawan
in New Delhi. The cabinet also approved a proposal to give 3.20 acre of land in Itkhori of Chatra district to Food Corporation of India for building a godown on a lease of 30 years with the option of renewal. Nod was also accorded for the second phase of Ranchi Urban
drinking water supply scheme worth Rs 300.58 crore while a sum of Rs 97.19 crore was approved for land acquisition for urban transportation in Ranchi. 

The cabinet also decided to constitute 20 non gazetted and gazetted post for effectively running the administrative setup of the Jharkhand High Court while in another key decision it was decided to give special facilities to the police officials and jawans posted in Jharkhand Jaguar.
