Giridih: In a joint operation by the police and the excise department and illegal liquor manufacturing facility being operated from Lukaiya village under Mufassil police station area of this district was busted.
40 carton of packed liquor, 100 cartons of empty bottles, 400 litres of spirit, 40 empty drums, 5 litres of chemicals and 1000 plastic bottles were recovered from the spot. Police said that the stock was being readied for supply in Bihar during the upcoming festival of Holi.
No arrests have been made so far.
