CM directs to pay remaining incentive of Panchayat volunteers within 10 days

Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das has directed the DCs to complete the task of giving away the remaining incentive money and issuing the identity card for Panchayat volunteers of the state.

Chairing the Siddhi Baat programme here the Chief Minister directed the dc’s to themselves monitor the same and clear the applications related to caste and income certificate through the panchayat volunteers. Lauding the efforts of the panchayat volunteers the Chief Minister said that these people have played an important role to ensure that the benefits of different schemes reach in the villages and development schemes are realised on the ground therefore at any cost they should be given their incentives and also directed to allot separate rooms to the panchayat volunteers in the panchayat secretariat.

The Chief Minister also directed the officials to organise camp between March 5 to 7 across all the blocks for registration of workers working in the unorganised sector under Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Mandhan Yojana. He said that all the workers of the unorganised sector who would be covered under the scheme would be getting a pension of Rs 3000 per month after they turn 60 years old. Mr Das 
also instructed that the survey of identifying the OBCs in the state should be completed within a month.
