Raghubar directs to pay remaining incentives to all panchayat volunteers within next 10 days

Ranchi: Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that it would be ensured that the panchayat volunteers get their incentives on time and a special cell would be also formed to solve their problems in which there would be three representatives from the panchayat volunteers.
Addressing a delegation of the panchayat volunteers at the project building here he said that the government would also look into the demand of increasing the incentives and said that all of them would be provided with smartphones and along with that they would be also given computer training.

The Cheif Minister directed all the DCs to ensure that the panchayat volunteers are paid their remaining incentives within 10 days and said that in districts where they have not been provided identity cards in those district in the next 10 days they should be provided with the same. He said that the panchayat volunteers would be using the computer available in the panchayat building as they have to remain in the panchayat and do their work. 

He said that block coordinator would be in touch with them and they would be the one who would be established in coordination between the BDO and the district coordinator and in this regard instructions have been issued to all the DCs and the BDOs. Mr Das said that the work of the panchayat volunteers is that of serving the people and they should not consider this as a job or honorarium.
