100 kilograms of explosives recovered from forest in Dumka

Dumka: In a joint operation conducted by the district police and the jawans of the SSB 100 kilograms of explosives was recovered
from Jodaam Forest under Kathikund Police Station area of this district. Dumka SP Y S Ramesh said that following a secret tip off a joint operation was conducted in which explosives which were kept in 20 packets of 5 kilograms each, 17 live cartridges, 9 magazines of Insas and SLR and naxal literature was recovered from the spot. 

He said that it appears that the most had collected these explosives to execute a big incident during the time of the Lok Sabha polls however their intentions have been filled by the police. He said that the explosives are so powerful that a packet being 5 kilograms can easily destroyed a vehicle.

The SP said that the monster also preparing to take revenge for the killing of Tala Da. Mr Ramesh said that after the death of Tala the Maoists are seeking an opportunity to take revenge from the police and still many Maoists are active in the area and police was conducting raids to nab
them.
