Link more people with Pradhanmantri Karmyogi Mandhan Yojana: Chief Secretary

Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Secretary Sudhir Tripathi has directed to link more people with Pradhanmantri Shramyogi Mandhan Yojana. 
In a video conferencing with all the DCs of the state, he said that the Prime Minister would he nationally launching the scheme on March 5 under which it has been directed to ensure registration of 100 beneficiaries in every district. He said that under this scheme worker of the unorganized sector would get a pension of Rs 3000 after the age of 60. He said that under this scheme 150 such trades have been which have a maximum number of labourers in the unorganized sector. He has directed that in every district awareness campaign should be organised in which people should be informed about its benefits. He also suggested taking the help of IPRD
and other departments.

Mr Tripathi said that there are 13000 Pragya Kendras in the state and per registration, the owner of pragya kendra would get Rs 30 in their accounts. The scheme would cover workers in the age group of Rs 18-40 years whose income should be less than Rs 15000. The income would be self-declared. Those in the age of 18 years would have to pay Rs 55 monthly while for 29 years it is 100 for 39 years it is Rs 190 and for 40 years and above it is Rs 200 and same amount would be given by the central government. The benefits of the scheme would be available for only such people who have their Aadhar and bank accounts and are not associated with EPF and ESI.
