Ranchi: A top Maoist Guerrilla carrying Rs 10 lakh reward has been arrested from outskirts of Ranchi on early Monday, Police said.
According to Police, Santosh Yadav alias Tiger was arrested his home situated at Pandara of Ranchi. He was getting treatment at his home. He had sustained two bullet injuries in gun battle with the security forces at Gumla district on Sunday.
Police had got information about his presence in his home. Police raided his home and arrested him. He had been admitted at Rajendra Institute of Medical Science (RIMS) Ranchi for treatment. Police recovered
On Sunday in a gun battle with a joint team of CRPF and the state police three Maoist Guerrillas were killed at Gumla district. Of the killed Maoist included RS 10 lakh reward carrying Gajju Gope. Gope was a Maoist commander of banned Maoist outfit, People’s Liberation Front of India (PLFI).
This year nine Maoist Guerrillas belonging to PLFI have been killed.
