Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that the purpose with which the state 20 point program execution committee was formed is being realised with full commitment and the committee has also performed up to its expectations to ensure that the development schemes reach to the villages.
Addressing a state level meeting of the 20 point program execution committee at the khelgaon here he said that eradication of poverty is a priority for the state government and it was due to the better policies and their execution that the condition of state has improved
and development was reaching to the last person in the society as the government wanted to bring a smile on the faces of the poor.
Congratulation the members he said that it was due to their coordination that the state government under the Ujjwala Yojana has so far distributed more than 34 lakh LPG connections and gas stoves under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana. The Chief Minister said that
making the farmers economically strong is the priority of the state government for which Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana has been started under which 22.76 lakh farmers of Jharkhand would be covered. He said that under this scheme every year the farmers would be getting an economic 8 of Rupees 6000 and the scheme would be launched by the Prime Minister from Gorakhpur of Uttar Pradesh and farmers who have less than two hectares of land would be covered under the scheme. He said that under this scheme a sum of Rs 2,000 would be transferred in the accounts of the farmers at an interval of 4 months each and the benefit would be given to them from December 1 2018.
He said that on the other hand, in Jharkhand under mukhyamantri Shri Ashirwad Yojana farmers having up to 1 acre of land would
be getting Rs 11,000 per year while maximum they would be eligible for a sum of Rs 31000. He said that on this historic ocasion a state level function would be organised in Ormanjhi of Ranchi. The Chief Minister said that whenever the government starts any new scheme then people do face some problem and said that to ensure that farmers receive the benefit of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana and a rayat coordination committee is being formed in the state and this committee would look into the complaint and solve the grievances while the officials of the revenue department and agriculture Department would also be establishing coordination to support this committee.
