Daltonganj: An inmate died inside the Medninagar central jail of Palamu District following which his family members created and upload demanding compensation.
The deceased has been identified as Gyani Singh (22) a resident of Kui village under Chainpur police station area. Police said early in the morning the man complains of chest pain after which he was rushed to the Sadar Hospital where he died. Later his body was handed over to his family members after conducting the postmortem.
However, as soon as the family members got to know about the incident they created an approach in the hospital demanding compensation.
Meanwhile, Jail Superintendent Praveen Kumar said that the deceased was brought to the central jail on July 2, 2018. He said that around 3 am the inmate complaint of chest pain after which he was examined by the jail doctor. His condition was serious and he was referred to the Sadar Hospital where he passed away.
