Ranchi: Chief Minister Raghubar Das today said that on February 24 Prime Minister Narendra Modi from Uttar Pradesh would
launch the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Yojana and in Jharkhand also a mega event will be organised on this day.
In a video conferencing with DCs Mr Das said that a mega event would be organised in Ormanjhi while apart from that in all the district headquarters and 264 blocks functions will also be organised in which farmers should be invited and also the Mukhiya and local elected representatives should be invited for the event. He said that by pressing a button the Prime Minister would across the country transfer the money in the accounts of 1.25 crore farmers and 10 lakh farmers in Jharkhand would be benefited by this is scheme and people across the state would be able to see a live telecast of Prime Minister’s address.
The Chief Minister directed to make elaborate arrangements at the block level for this program and said that during the event certificate would be also distributed to the farmers and direct telecast of Mann Ki Baat program of the Prime Minister would also be done. Mr Das directed that the remaining honorarium of the volunteers working at Panchayat Sachivalaya should be paid within a month for which the DCs should hold meeting with the officials of the concerned department and should also ensure that in future also money is paid to them on time.
He said that in some of the districts the volunteers have not been given their identity cards which should be given to them within a week and said that I special Gram Sabha should be called on February 25 in which discussion over street light water storage tanks and paver blocks should be held and said that the local Mukhiya should establish coordination with the BDOs in this regard. The Chief Minister said that on February 27 under Ujjwala Yojana the Prime Minister would be distributing LPG connection and would also be giving away smartphones among the farmers and this program would also be organised across the state in which cabinet ministers MP’s and MLA’s would participate and on this day the work for restoration of ponds in Khunti and Dumka district would commence and asked the DCs to make preparations for the event.
