Bokaro: Police has arrested seven members of a mobile stealing gang from separate police Station areas of this district.
Briefing the press SP P Murugan said 12 mobile phones, a pistol and couple of live cartridges have been also recovered from their possession.
He said that post the increase in the incidents of mobile loot in the city a special team was formed which arrested three Youth from Sector 4 police station area.
Based on the inputs provided by them for others were arrested from Shahadat Nagar and Muslim Mohalla under charge police station area, the SP set adding that the gang used to target women and girls for snatching the mobiles which days later used to sell in the market at less cost.
