Ranchi: All India Congress Committee president Rahul Gandhi would be coming to Jharkhand on March 2nd in which he would advise a public rally in the state capital of Ranchi. In which of the visit of Mr Gandhi the party has cancelled its rally proposed in Gumla on February 24. Party spokesperson Lal Kishore Nath Shahdeo said that JPCC in charge RPN Singh has directed to cancel the event in Gumla and make preparations for Rahul Gandhi’s event on March 2.
Meanwhile the chairman of the State Congress campaign committee and former Union Minister Subodh Kant Sahay said that a historic welcome would be given to Mr Gandhi during his visit to the state and his public meeting would be historic one in the context of the state as it was for the first time after becoming the AICC chief he was coming to Jharkhand.
He said that all opposition parties would be invited for the rally of Mr Gandhi and the campaign committee was making large scale preparations to ensure that his visit is a huge success.
