Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Minister today directed the officials to complete the process of putting up new industries on time in the state. Chairing a meeting of the Jharkhand Industrial Area Development Authority here he said that small industries create more job opportunities and also asked to improve the facilities in all the industrial areas. He said that focus should be accorded to install new factories in Santhal Pargana area so that the region can rapidly develop.
The Chief Minister also directed to hold regular meetings with the industrialists to know about their problems. In the meeting, the master plan for 37 industrial areas was approved and it was also decided that in case of land availability already functional units in the region would be given priority while one-time notice will also be issued for settlement with nonfunctional units.
In the meeting, a leather park in Dhanbad and Pharma park in Ranchi was also approved. Those present in the meeting also included Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Sunil Kumar Barnwal, Secretary Power Vandana Dadle, Secretary Revenue K K Soan and others.
