Modi in Hazaribagh to inaugurate medical and Engineering colleges

Hazaribagh/Ranchi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi would be arriving Sunday in Hazaribagh during which he would lay foundation stones for the various scheme and inaugurate the newly built Medical College in Hazaribagh and the Women’s Engineering College in Ramgarh. 

The the main function would be held in Gandhi Maidan where the Prime Minister would inaugurate the newly built Hazaribagh Medical College which has been constructed at a cost of Rs 885 crore and would also inaugurate Eastern India’s first and the Nation’s third women engineering college in Ramgarh district which has been constructed at a cost of Rs 106 crore. Further he would also inaugurate rural drinking water supply schemes worth a total of Rs 40 crore in Hazaribagh parliamentary area and lay a foundation stone for building a 500-bed hospital in Hazaribagh which would be constructed at a cost of Rs 580 crore and would also
lay the foundation to build a tribal research centre in Acharya Vinoba Bhave University Hazaribagh. Among others, the Prime Minister is also scheduled to flag off Ranchi Patna express train from Hazaribagh.

In wake of the arrival of the Prime Minister in Hazaribagh, elaborate security arrangements have been made in and around the venue. The city has been decked in the posters of Prime Minister Narendra Modi chief minister Raghubar Das Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation and local MP Jayant Sinha and Sadar MLA Manish Jaiswal. Speaking on the occasion Mr Jaiswal said that a new energy has been enthused in the BJP workers in wake of the visit of the Prime Minister and people of Hazaribagh are looking forward to his visit. 

He said that a complete makeover has been given to the Gandhi Maidan located at Matwari here where the function would be held and in the first phase the work for the main entrance has been completed and in the second phase boundary wall with grill would be erected and on the other two remaining entrances also attractive gates would be put up. During his visit to the state, the Prime Minister is also supposed to interact with the beneficiaries of the Ayushman Bharat Yojana in Ranchi and this interaction will take place near the airport itself where a special venue has been created. The security in and around the Ranchi Airport has been also strengthened due to this high profile visit.
