All functions on day one of LJP’s national working committee meet cancelled over Pulwama attack

Ranchi: Lok Janshakti Party’s national president and Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan today cancelled all the program which was scheduled on the inaugural day of the national working committee meet of his party which is currently taking place in Ranchi. On his directions, a couple of minutes of silence was observed to pay respect to the martyrs and prayers were said to give strength to the family to overcome the loss of their dear ones.

Mr Paswan expressed his grief and said that the incident was saddening and worth condemning and even the party had been hurt by this incident and a condolence proposal was passed on the occasion. He said that all political parties are together in this period of grief and all would stand with whatever decision the government will take at the Central level. Mr Paswan said that the entire country was boiling with anger and assured that the party stands with the martyrs. He also instructed his office bearers and party workers to get in touch with the kin of the martyrs and provide them with all the possible help.
