Garhwa: A woman lost her life and 12 others were injured in a collision between a bus and an autorickshaw on the Bansidhar Nagar-Garhwa main road of this district. All the injured hailed from the same family. The deceased woman has been identified as Sukhmaniya Devi (66).
Post the incident the locals rushed the injured to the sub-divisional hospital from where all of them were referred to Sadar Hospital. All the injured are members of one family. Police said that the occupants of the auto were going to a nearby temple while the bus which was carrying members of a marriage party was coming from Uttar Pradesh to Palamu. Post the incident the bus driver managed to flee from the spot.
