Acid attack on school teacher in Ranchi

Ranchi: Two youth threw acid on a school teacher who was returning in an auto rickshaw after participating in Saraswati Puja after which the woman was admitted at RIMS. Upon receiving information DSP Deepak Kumar Pandey reached the hospital and recorded the statement of the women.

The victim has named one Shravan Kumar as one of the accused in the incident after which police was trying to nab the culprit. The victim teaches in Kolkata Public School located at Ormanjhi and was returning in an auto rickshaw however as she reached the church complex two youth on a motorcycle wearing helmets through acid on her and fled from the spot.

Later the women was rushed to RIMS by the fellow passengers and police was alerted. Upon receiving Information Ranchi City SP Sujata Veenapani also reached on the spot and enquired into the matter.
