Ranchi: Police has arrested four kidnappers and rescued an old man from their clutches. Police said that on Saturday late night five youth in a car reached the house of one Bhikhari Yadav of Kokar and forcibly kidnapped him. However, as they were trying to flee one of the neighbors’ alerted the police after which police swung into action and alerted the PCR vans.
One of the PCR vans surrounded an alto car on the Jumar bridge and arrested the four kidnappers while one of the youth managed to flee. On Sunday police briefed the press about the incident and said that all the arrested hail from Bhagalpur district of Bihar.
